I am itching to send my ebay purchased Marshall JMP1 to Voodoo for either the Standard or Deluxe mod. Question is how do I know the year of the unit and which
mod it would be best suited for.
Also my data knob is not working very well at this point and will probably require a new pot to function again. Can I assume that this is a standard Marshall JMP1 repair that Voodoo can accomodate while performing my additional mod?
Last but not least given that there is no standard rear input jack on the JMP1, can I have Voodoo install one? I know that based on info from the ADA site that it is a fairly common mod on the MP1. It woudl make life in the rack much easier for the JMP1 unit to not have just the front panel input jack.
I have looked within the unit and there seems to be enough room to drill the rear chassis and wire a jack. Any serious drawbacks to this mod?
